Two Dragon Qust 5 translations have been completed.
Byuu's Webpage has released a completed
translation based on Dragon Quest with a more literal translation.
Dejap & Partial Translations released their completed Dragon Quest 5 translation
at the Partial Translations website. This
translation is based on the NES version of Dragon Warrior and is more Americanized.
Dragon Quest 5 has slightly better graphics than Dragon Warrior 4. It has great casinoes
with slime races, lots of monsters that will join you, and it has a great storyline about the lifespan
of the hero. It starts when you are a child and eventually you get to choose a wife and get
married. The game is very smooth so you should have to spend very little time leveling up.

To get monsters to join you all you need is a wagon. They even join in dungeons
as long as you still have room.
To use the translations you will need a Dragon Quest 5 ROM, the translation patch, and a
ROM patcher (IPS Patcher).
